Kit holds undergraduate and graduate degrees majoring in psychology and counseling. He has worked as a school counselor, a manager in the food and beverage industry, a clinical psychologist and as a salesperson and sales manager for a major communications company. He has earned the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation and the CSP (Certified Sales Professional) designation making him a CCSSPP. He was inducted into the Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame and served as World President of the Global Speakers Federation.
